We are seeking experienced Class 1 Tramping Drivers to join our expanding workforce, working for our prestigious client based just outside of March, Cambs.
Although classed as a temporary role, this is ongoing full-time work with the possibility of a permanent position should you get on well.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prestigious haulier which offers constant on the job training, and the opportunity of a full time position for the right candidates.
Job Description
- Carry out daily vehicle checks; reporting any defects to the workshop
- General haulage of palletised products nationwide
- Ensure goods are checked against despatch notes before leaving the yard
- Secure loads correctly prior to departure
- Complete all paperwork required to a high standard
- Maintain a high level of health & safety at all times
- Flexibility to work some weekends
Job Remuneration
Monday to Friday £14.00 p/h + Holiday
Saturday £14.50 p/h + Holiday
Sunday £15.50 p/h + Holiday
£25.00 paid per night out
Secure parking paid
5.6 weeks' paid holiday per annum

Job Hours
Monday to Sunday with various shift patterns and days available, typically starting between 03:00 and 06:00
Job Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with Class 1 Entitlement and a maximum of 6 points (No DD or DR's)
- 6 months commercial driving experience
- Valid Drivers Qualification Card (DCPC)
- Valid Drivers Card
- Good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations
