Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver Tramper required
£15.00ph - £19.05ph
Luton, Bedfordshire
Flexible shift patterns available. Start date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for regular ongoing work Monday to Sunday. This is an ongoing requirement with a 04.00 - 06.00 start pattern.
Day to Day Role:
- Vehicle checks to be completed daily and to report any defects accordingly
- Ensure loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
- Transportation of goods and deliveries to their intended destinations in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure all POD’s are signed and completed in line with company policy
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Follow company procedures and maintain contact with the transport office informing them of potential delays

Job Remuneration
Pay rate(s):
All rates with holiday accruing and holiday rolled up
Monday to Friday £15.00 - £16.81
Saturday £16.00 - £17.93
Sunday £17.00 - £19.05
Job Hours
04.00 - 6.00 start pattern.
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Job Requirements
- Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
- 6 months' Class 1 commercial driving experience (Req)
- Excellent Knowledge of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations (Req)
- Reliability and punctuality is an essential part of this role
- Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
- Container/fridge experience desirable
