Bulk Tipper Drivers Required
Job Description
HGV Class 1 Bulk Tipper Drivers are needed for the transport of agricultural goods. This is a temp-to-perm role, meaning that a permanent position is available for the right candidate. This permanent position available will be after the completion of 13 weeks of work.
The client is a major player in agricultural and food transport, with their sites including both Greetham Wood and Peterborough. The drivers will need to be willing to travel out of both sites. The chance of international and long distance work is also open if desired, and the trucks are part of a modern fleet which are equipped with the latest technology.
Daily duties:
- Carry out daily vehicle walk around checks
- Ensure allocated vehicle is in a safe and legal condition
- Check that any given load is secure and safe for transit
- Collection and delivery of grain/aggregates/potatoes in a safe and timely manner
- Follow any and all on site instructions at all times
Job Remuneration
(All pay rates with a minimum 8 hour pay per shift)
Rates are Holiday Rolled Up (Holiday pay inclusive)
Monday to Friday £16.25
Saturday £17.43
Sunday £18.49
Nights out £25.00
Job Hours
Monday - Friday, 1 - 4 Saturdays (nights out as required)
6 on 3 off to include weekends as required
4 on 4 off to include weekends as required
Start times are between 04.00am - 06.00am
(Average 12-hour shift, expected hours: 48 - 72)
Job Requirements
- Current UK Driving Licence (Required)
- Valid CPC and Digi Card (Required)
- 6 months' Bulk/Tipper experience (Required)
- 6 months' Commercial driving experience needed
- Proficient in the operation of vehicle PTO's (Required)
- Experience of loading/unloading grain (preferred)
- Ability to work/drive in all weather conditions (Required)
