We are currently recruiting for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for regular ongoing work Monday to Sunday. This is an ongoing requirement with a 12.00-20:00 shift patter - more hours potentially available.
Job Description
- Vehicle checks to be completed daily and to report any defects accordingly
- Ensure loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
- Transportation of goods and deliveries to their intended destinations in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure all POD’s are signed and completed in line with company policy
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Follow company procedures and maintain contact with the transport office informing them of potential delays

Job Remuneration
Pay: £16.00-£19.50 per hour
Job Hours
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Expected hours: 39 – 60 per week
Job Requirements
- Full UK driving license, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
- 2 years' Class 1 commercial driving experience (Req)
- Excellent Knowledge of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations (Req)
- Reliability and punctuality is an essential part of this role
- Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
- Experience of Curtain side and/or Container and Hub run is essential
