Experienced car transporter needed
Job Description
Established in 1989, our client is a car distribution and transport specialist with important contracts in the local area and further around the country. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering vehicles to various locations, maintaining positive relationships with the client's contacts.
This is a tramping role involving car work out of Brandon, Suffolk. Each driver will receive their own truck.
Additional Bonuses
£165 non-damage bonus per week (if there is no damage to the vehicle)
£5 meal allowance per day
£60 payment if a Friday shift runs into the Saturday
£24 per night out
Daily Role
- Ensure that any loaded vehicles are sufficiently and safely secured before transportation
- Transportation (and unloading) of vehicles to their intended destinations in a safe and timely manner
- Keep the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Perform all necessary vehicle checks and reports
- Maintain good communication with the transport office informing them of potential delays or incidents
- Keep a professional driving style and manner, following all UK road rules and regulations

Job Requirements
Driver requirements
- Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
- 1 years' Class 1 car transporter experience (Required)
- Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations (Required)
- Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
